On the bottom left corner, you’ll find the basics to start the game, which are the number of players and the required age. Well, the standard deck, besides having several action cards, number cards, +2 cards, and many more, also has a total of 8 wild cards (counting the Wild Draw 4 cards).In scratch, it has similar rules to the standard deck, but anyways, there are some specifics and special instructions. You could be stuck playing it at a time when it’s disadvantageous.We remember the day we found out that Mattel released the UNO All Wild Deck. 0s could be used the same way, but are even more situational. 7s could be kept and used strategically to snatch victory away from one of the AIs when they have 1-2 cards, but if you keep it and it the AIs end up with more cards than you, you’ll end up giving them a win.
The only advice I can give is to make sure and get rid of your 7s and 0s early, since having to play one when you have 2-3 cards left means you are basically giving one of the AI an easy win. This is gamebreaking and quite honestly stupid. Playing a 0 means everyone gives their hand to the person clockwise/counterclockwise from them, depending on which way turns are moving. If this house rule is on, playing a 7 means you can swap your entire hand with a player’s hand of your choosing. The only house rule that changes the game in any significant way is 7-0. Thankfully the games don’t really take that long, so getting screwed over doesn’t set you back that far. During tournament mode, the game will start throwing in house rules that make the games even more about luck. However, it seems they are more likely to call Uno the more times you challenge them, so don’t think you can do is infinitely. The computer generally DOESN’T call Uno the first time when they place their second to last card, so you can challenge them and stop them from winning. However, the computer will almost always challenge you a second or two after you place your last card, so be sure to do it before you place the card. You can call it before you place your second to last card, but you can also call it after you place the second to last card. When you have one card left, you have to call Uno, otherwise you can be challenged and forced to draw two cards. The computer will generally call you on the bluff, so it’s better to wait until you HAVE to play it as you have no other options, since calling a bluff and being wrong means they have to draw 4 instead of 6. However, if you do this when you have a card that can be played instead, either because it’s the same color as the top card on the discard pile, or is the same number/type, they can call your bluff and force you to draw instead. You can play a draw 4 wild at any time and force your opponent to draw 4 cards.
